About Us

For forty years, our private practice has served adults and students in a variety of settings to provide speech and language therapy services that enhance communication development regardless of physical and learning challenges. Helping to support individuals to become successful communicators and lifelong learners in their schools, work, and/or home settings motivates our staff to keep current with neuroscience, technology, behavior strategies, educational developments, and changes in the environments of our clients.

In the school setting our team works closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to integrate speech and language strategies into student IEPs and in the classroom. This flexible approach brings the most service to the school system and best supports the student in meeting his or her educational goals.

In the day habilitation setting, we work closely with developmental care specialists, program directors, and the interdisciplinary team to meet the needs of adults with developmental disabilities.  Our goal is to provide treatment that will facilitate the development of functional communication skills.  To meet this goal, we provide training to all members of the team and may use assistive augmentative communication strategies, including speech generating devices, sign language, and picture/ icon-based communication boards and notebooks.

Our staff has provides speech and language diagnostic and therapy services in the following settings:
